You can’t get all clever and use a resuce as a putter (unless you want to, but you need to have a putter too).
So, what are the tactics? Driver, Sand and Lob? 3 Iron, 6 Iron, 9 Iron? 3Wood, 5 Iron, Wedge? West Midlands is not the Forest of Arden, so the timber could stay in the garage? Is this event more a case of man vs man rather than man vs course or man vs himself?
Does it make ANY difference? Without the Prof, I feel we’re spiritually bereft of inspiration – surely he’d pack the Driver, the Iron and the Chipper, who needs anything else?
We now have ‘Facebook’ commenting, to make things easier – what are your suggestions?
Suggestions From The Skipper:
Putter – Rescue (or 4 or 5 Wood) – Mid Iron – Gap Wedge
5iron 8iron and wedge (lob or pitching, undecided)
