I don’t believe so, I’ve seen no constitutional updates on handicaps in the 12 months since this was raised. Now Ron is on the board, he’s probably comfortable with the status quo.

Plus, I reckon he’s biding his time – give it a couple of years and everyone will be playing off completely unrealistic handicaps and therefore incapable of posting a winning stapleforth total. This is less devastating for low handicappers and Ron in particular – 2012 might be when he goes for an ‘invicibles’ season on tour.
