Prompted by Bruce’s remarkable achievement in holing out a putt longer than 3 feet (don’t ask him about the 9th or 16th and missing tiddlers) – good for him, one drive, one lusty blow with a brand new 3 wood before hearing the bell to indicate that the President’s slowcoach group had failed to give each other 18 inch putts, again, and he faced a 25 footer for an eagle. Aust and I weren’t confident for him, but in it went, at pace.
Here is the new Eagle board waiting for Ron or Rob to make their mark.
And an updated Birdie board after a flurry at the Abbey Hotel on Saturday. I’ll get these onto the Notable Efforts page soon.
Ron made an eagle by holing a lob wedge at the presidents classic in 08
Ron, if you can recall which hole, and have two members willing to underwrite the veracity of this claim, I’ll be happy to add your Eagle to the board
I’m not that much of a online reader to be honest but your blogs really nice, keep it up!
I’ll go ahead and bookmark your website to come back later on. Many
thanks
