Details of the Download

Gentlemen of WHV,

Having previously informed you about the Tour’s newest minor, the Web Donk Download, I managed to get 6 people to accept, with a further 2 as a maybe, so went ahead and booked 3 tee times, given the level of attendance at other events so far this year.

The club – the Vale at Evesham – have been in touch with their Dress Code paperwork – see below (they may have been on the website and seen the shirtless shots of Millers at the Captains), but also to let me know that we can’t now book in a fourth tee slot as they’ve got a society behind us now. This is all relative and they’ll be able to work something out, but if you’re not on the Jurg list and want to be, let me know.

Prizes

– Winner – (pittance from the board) – Custody of the Giant Golden Goblet of Download until the next WD Download event. Also, a unique opportunity to gain a double page spread in the 2012 Tour Souvenir programme – your space to publish your own manifesto or hate-filled diatribe, or pose with the trophy in a semi-professional photo shoot (the Donk has plenty of camera gear and will provide up to 2 hours of his own time to assist with creating your own vision of glory, more if you feed me). Bring your own props or models, find a venue and I will light and shoot and prepare the layout for your approval. Now for some, this might include them sitting awkwardly with the trophy and smiling, for others, their imagination will run riot…this will turn out excellent and look very professional(or at least as good as the stuff they knock up on the Apprentice), and I’m prepared to present a large A3 print of the layout to the victor at the AGM alongside a complementary copy of the 2012 Tour Souvenir

– Runner Up – (pittance from the board) – and nothing else from me, I’ve been second and empty handed too often to consider nearly winning worth celebrating

– Dog – (£5 from the board) – Free 12 month vanity advertisement on the whvgolf.com website, in the form of a banner or 125×125 box in the front page of the site, with design support from the Web Donk and no restriction on content – advertise your business, brag about your achievements, attack a fellow member, stir up religious hatred, I am happy to publish ANYTHING on the site

– Shark (£ from the board) – Free 12 month vanity advertisement on the whvgolf.com website, in the form of a banner or 125×125 box on the front page of the site, with design support from the Web Donk and no restriction on content – advertise your business, brag about your achievements, attack a fellow member, stir up religious hatred, I am happy to publish ANYTHING on the site

A preview of my beautiful massive trophy, with beer bottle for scale. Mrs Donk is looking forward to it leaving our living room.
