WHVGSers – It is now 1 week until the Amy Austin, 1 week and a day until the 2009 CJ and 1 week 2 days until I pass the coveted Green Jacket onto someone else…!

Confirmation of the final details will follow next week, but in advance of that I would like to inform those of you who are aware of the “DPS”, that the Custodian of the Grail and all DPS related artifacts, the writer, maintainer and the reader of the DPS minutes will not be attending the CJ weekend – I am therefore proposing that DPS activities are cancelled this year, because in my opinion he is integral to those particular particular activities of the affiliated Society. I understand that this is not my decision or that of the GS Board, but it would seem to be the appropriate decision to me at least.

Noz, as player rep, stepped in “Lets be clear that people are not being fined simply for not attending events (minors or majors), there were many other points considered in Baxters case, including a direct complaint from one of the society members about his behaviour leading up to the Captains cup that influenced the decision.”
