I shall attempt here to create, in a single page, a repository of the society assets

The 1968 Munich Pottery Stein with naff Hinged Lid

This item was provided by the late father of Prof Ash, in 2009 I believe. It is presented annually to the winner of the Spittle Shield (which otherwise has no trophy).

The holder of the Munich Stein has the honour of ensuring its’ safe transport to the WHV Open, and throughout that weekend, is obliged to use it for the consumption of all alcoholic beverages.

• The Pedro Fiver – lost at the EoSS by the TD in 2009 in a shirtless stupor
• The Spitfire – lost at the 2015 Captain’s Matchplay by Butters, in the rough, after a whiff – causing a moment of magic for the assembled members
• The Dog – ‘lost’ by the President at the Captain’s Matchplay at Stonebridge, after he rescued it from lying on a fairway
